On The Road Again
Summer Adventures for 2012 began on May 20th when we
left home for our first stop in Iowa to visit with relatives. We also
picked up a small baby bed that Frank's mother purchased when he was
born over 70+ years ago. We will deliver it later this summer to be
used for his oldest son's new baby due to arrive in August. I
thoroughly enjoyed my time with my wonderful sisters.
They talked me
into playing bean bags or "corn hole" as they call it in Iowa. We also enjoyed a day playing golf near Boone, Iowa birthplace of Mamie Eisenhower.
We are traveling to our next destination so stay tuned.

Yeah Barb! Sounds like your family has lots of creative activities - what fun. Looking forward to following your travels.
Big day for change in The Caring Place pantry - we went entirely paperless today!
I tried to comment but I don't think it registered.
What I said was "I look forward to having fun with
your sisters, too. Have a fun and safe trip. I will
stay tuned for more news from the road."
Sharon: Your comment did come through. Will send you a bigger picture to identify the sisters.
