Watching Waves

Even though two hurricanes have come up the Atlantic Ocean and not very close to Maine, we have been able to see some beautiful waves kicked up along the coast. There are several areas in Acadia National Park where you can view them but because 3 people were swept off the rocks a year and a half ago when there were high waves, Park Rangers are there to "help" you decide to stay well away.

Yesterday we took along a picnic lunch and our lawn chairs and sat and watch some even more spectacular waves hit the rocks in front of us. Also did a little people watching. These are waves from Igor.
