Home Sweet Home

While we were in Virginia where there was snow on the ground there was actually a day that it snowed a couple of inches at home in Texas. Very rare occurrence which is part of the reason we live in Texas - we had enough cold and snow growing up in Iowa! So here is a picture that our neighbor across the street took of our house while we were gone. The snow was just beginning to come down.
I am happy to say that Frank is feeling much like his old self with more energy and ambition than he has had this past year. Last Saturday I went out to rake leaves and trim some bushes that I don't think made it through the winter and he came out to help making the job go faster. Yes the big old oak tree that is in our neighbor's yard loses its leaves in the spring and ends up in our yard. Actually I think there were several years worth lurking underneath the plants. My azaleas didn't make it through the winter but then maybe the deer were what finished them off.
